Rocky Ridge Retreat is a premier hunting outfitter specializing in Chinese Ring-necked Pheasant hunts. We are strategically located in the middle of the "Golden Triangle" formed by the towns of Gregory, Winner, and Chamberlain, South Dakota. The territory within the "Golden Triangle" is widely considered to be the best pheasant hunting in the world. Founded by Ed and Leanne Sinclair, Rocky Ridge Retreat has been family owned since its inception in 1996. In 2023 Brock Sinclair, the son of Ed and Leanne Sinclair, purchased the business in order to continue to build on the foundation of excellence Rocky Ridge guests have come to expect.
Rocky Ridge has hosted corporate and personal hunting retreats, while also catering to domestic and international hunters over the years. No matter your group's size or dynamic, we maintain a standard of excellence our guests keep coming back for. It is evident this standard is upheld once you arrive and walk through the door of our thirty-bed, eight-thousand square-foot lodge. Guests are treated to a fully guided hunt with one of our professional guides, relaxing evenings at the lodge, and home cooked meals for the duration of their stay. While relaxing and enjoying our accommodations, you may even be lucky enough to be blessed with a celebrity appearance in the kitchen from Leanne!
